As part of the Summer Reading Challenge our libraries have partnered with Thurrock Garden Centre in South Ockendon who have donated free sunflower seeds for children. These are available while stocks last at our special summer events and at the community Big Lunches.

Don't forget that all year round libraries run a host of clubs for young and old, from reading groups to sewing circles and story times
