What's on at your library

Your new Libraries website – launching on 1 April

We will be launching our new Libraries website on Wednesday 1 April. The site will not only have an improved look and feel, for the first time you will be able search the catalogue, join, log in to your account and borrow books from the homepage. Our existing Library webpages will be offline from Friday 20 March, in preparation for launching the new site. All your account information will be carried across on Friday 20, and will be there in the new site. The App will continue working throughout. We have more information on our website

Children's reading groups

Proud to support the National Year of Reading 2026

Children's reading groups provide a safe space where children can read with a member of our library team and take part in activities based on what they've read.

They're also invited to share thoughts about books they're currently reading, if they would like to.

Children under the age of 8 years-old must be accompanied by an adult.

There's a limit to the number of children that can attend so if you're thinking of attending for the first time, please contact the library in advance.

There are also story time sessions for children which often features crafts related to the book shared and can be found here.
