Grays Library open.
Grays Library is open today but the Cromwell Road entrance is currently closed. Access is via the main entrance in Orsett road. The Library may be slightly colder than usual as we carry out the remaining repairs to the heating.

Dictionaries and references
You can get free access to online Ocford Dictionary of English as part of our reference library.
This can be accessed either by using computers in your local library or on your home computer.
To use this service:
- go to Oxford Dictionary of English
- under 'Log in with a library card' enter your library card number
- select 'Thurrock Libraries' from the list of libraries and institutions
The Oxford Dictionary of English is a modern use dictionary with grammar and thesaurus (synonym) links. It is different and separate to the Oxford English Dictionary.
