Examples of team building activities at Grangewaters include:

Activity Description
Improvised raft building Whether you get wet or not depends on how well the team designs and builds the raft. Using barrels, ropes and poles the team will design, build and then race the raft on a set course on Grangewaters' lake.
Jacob's ladder Jacob's ladder is situated on the east of the high ropes course. It is a swinging ladder of small horizontal telegraph poles attached to thick wire ropes. Up to 4 climbers climb together and try to reach the top helping each other on the way.
Spider's web The team start the task on 1 side of a large spiders web, the team must cross through the web without touching it, as this will awaken the spider. The team must work together to help each other through.
Skis The team step onto 2 large skis, 1 foot on either ski. Using ropes to hold and communicating with each other, the team must start to walk a set route. Timing and teamwork is crucial for success.
Tim's magic maze Tim's Magic Maze is just like a giant Christmas cracker maze that takes the whole team to control.
Woodland management The Grangewaters site has extensive woodland areas ideally suited to learning about managing land for the benefit of wildlife. We offer opportunities for learning tree and undergrowth management, coppicing and habitat development.
Zip line Rumoured to be the longest zip line in the UK that travels over water, participants will cover over 200 metres from the top of the climbing tower, across the corner of the lake and landing on the east bank. This is a fun, challenging and exhilarating activity. All you have to do is step off!
