Corringham Library
Corringham library was opened in its current premises on 28 October 1972. It is purpose-built in a busy town centre at the heart of a thriving community.
There is 1 public toilet, which has access for disabled people.
There are 2 rooms available for hire:
The Learning Pod is a self contained room within the library with a capacity for 10 people and has charging sockets, hire of tablets within the session for attendees and a large screen to display presentations.
The second meetings room has a capacity for 15 and has its own large touchscreen which can be connected to a laptop.

On Wednesdays the library will be open only for self-service use.
When open only for self-service, you will be able to:
- browse shelves
- use Wi-Fi
- borrow items using the self-service machine
- return borrowed items using the self-service machine
- book and use library computers
- print from library computers using the self-service machine
- reserve items online, either using your own device or using library computers
When open only for self-service, you will not be able to use services for which would usually need support from a member of staff. This includes the Summer Reading Challenge, IT support and getting answers to questions about library stock.
