Thurrock's education awards celebrate excellence in the borough's schools. They recognise the importance of education as the foundation for a good quality of life and future success.
There are 11 award categories for teachers, head teachers, support staff, teams, governors and trusts that have gone the extra mile in sharing their effort, enthusiasm and talent.
Parents, pupils, colleagues, providers, partners and all involved with education in Thurrock are invited to make a nomination.
All nominations must be received by midnight, Sunday 6 October 2019.
The awards will be presented on the evening of Friday 29 November 2019.
All shortlisted nominators and nominees will enter a prize draw – to take place during the awards ceremony – for a 12-night cruise for 2 people, from Tilbury to the Iceland and the Northern Isles, departing on Sunday 9 August 2020, donated by Cruise and Maritime Voyages.
Sponsors make this event possible and join us each year to honour the exceptional teaching professionals, early years practitioners, governors and support staff across Thurrock.
