Construction works will take place between 8:00am and 5:00pm East Thurrock Road 09/03 to 13/03 - Multiway lights for bus stop build out. 26/03 to 27/03 - Road closure from Kent Road to Whitehall Lane for carriageway resurfacing. Whitehall Lane 16/03 to 19/03 - Multiway lights for Zebra crossing on the western footway. 20/03 to 25/03 - Multiway lights with Zebra crossing on the eastern footway. 26/03 and 27/03 - Road closure from East Thurrock Road to Broadway to complete carriageway resurfacing. Broadway 26/03 and 27/03 - Broadway from Whitehall Lane to a point approx. 96m travelling east, a soft closure will be in place from the junction with Rectory Road for safety. |

Please be advised that Thurrock Council will shortly be carrying out works to construct a new Bus Buildout, Zebra Crossing to improve pedestrian safety as well as Carriageway Resurfacing affecting A126 East Thurrock Road, A126 Broadway and Whitehall Lane.
Key Information:
- A temporary parking restriction will be in place within the work area during working hours. Please ensure vehicles are not parked in this area to avoid a Penalty Charge Notice and the risk of damage from heavy machinery.
- Vehicle access to properties within the closure area will be restricted during working hours and will only be permitted when it is safe to do so.
Our site operatives will be on hand to assist with any queries or access needs. - A signed diversion route will be in place via A126 Dock Road, Old Dock Approach Road, B149 Wood View, A1013 Lodge Lane, A1013 Southend Road, A1013 Palmers Avenue, A1013 Orsett Road, A126 Stanley Road, A126 Clarence Road, A126 Bridge Road and vice versa.
