Residents can speak to some of the UK’s leading employers and training providers at an upcoming Apprenticeship and Jobs Fair.
The free event, which is taking place at the Thameside Theatre in Grays between 10am to 1pm on Tuesday 10 February, will give residents the opportunity to speak directly to both local and national employers across a wide range of industries about their apprenticeship and job vacancies.
Local training providers will also be in attendance to discuss the qualifications and training that could support residents career development.

The fair was an overwhelming success last year, with over 500 residents of all ages in attendance.
Cllr Lee Watson, Cabinet Member for Good Growth, said: "The upcoming careers fair is a brilliant opportunity to showcase some of the many exciting job opportunities in Thurrock. We know that it can sometimes feel a bit daunting if you're looking for work or deciding on your next steps, but this fair gives our residents a helping hand by bringing them a range of industry experts they can speak to - all in once place."
Cllr Vikki Hartstean, Cabinet Member for Children’s Services and Community Safety, said: “This is a terrific opportunity for residents of all ages to speak with a range of fantastic employers about the vacancies in our borough, and receive invaluable career advice.
