What's on in Thurrock

Thurrock’s LGBTQ+ Community Network are hosting a monthly café space for residents and allies.

Hosted at Thurrock Town Hall in Grays from 1pm to 3pm on the 2nd Friday of every month, Café Pride offers a relaxed space to connect and chat with others while enjoying lunch or coffee.

On Friday 11 July, Café Pride will be joined by Kite Spirit, an all female group based in Thurrock who are known for their exceptional textile artworks. The group will be helping to transform all of the memories and emotions from Thurrock Pride ‘25 into a community quilt.

The quilt will be a lasting tribute to Thurrock’s shared journey and the vibrant spirit of the community.

Whether you contribute a patch, a story, or simply lend your presence, come along to be part of something truly special.

The café is open to all and no RSVP is needed.
