Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

No waiting at any time

West Thurrock and South Stifford no.2

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, intends to make the above named Order ("the Proposed Order").

2) The general effect of the Order would be to introduce new waiting restrictions "No Waiting at Any Time" at the following locations:

i) on the both sides of Gumley Road, from the southern kerb line of London Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 50m
ii) on the eastern side of Barclay Way, from a point 162m south of the southern kerb line of Central Avenue in a southerly direction for a distance of 28.5m
iii) on the western side of Barclay Way, from a point 162m south of the southern kerb line of Central Avenue in a southerly direction for a distance of 52m
iv) on the northern side of London Road West Thurrock, from the common boundary line of 562 and 564-566 in a easterly direction for a distance of 49m
v) on the southern side of London Road West Thurrock, from a point 8.5m east opposite of the common boundary line of 562 and 564-566 in a easterly direction for a distance of 41m
vi) on the northern side of London Road Purfleet, from a point 0.5m west opposite of the common boundary line of 9 and 10 Jarrah Cottages in a westerly direction for a distance of 99m

3) A copy of the Proposed Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any objection to the proposed Order must be made in writing, giving the grounds on which it is made, and sent to the address in paragraph (3) or sent via email to transportdevelopment@thurrock.gov.uk to arrive on or before 26 March 2020. Any objection may be communicated to other persons who may be affected.
