On 19 November 2019, D.K. Symes Associates applied to Thurrock Council for mineral extraction and processing at Orsett Quarry and extension into adjoining land at Walton's Hall Farm, erection of a processing plant and ancillary activities, importation and treatment of reclamation material with progressive restoration to farmland with landscape planting.

Further information has been submitted by the applicant to accompany the Environmental Statement.  Members of the public may inspect the submitted planning application, the Environmental Statement and the further information on the Council’s web-site: www.thurrock.gov.uk or at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays during normal office hours.
