Traffic Regulation Order (TRO)

Permit Parking Bay and No Waiting At Any Time

London Road, Purfleet

1) Notice is hereby given that Thurrock Borough Council, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, hereby gives notice that they have made the above order on the 16 January 2020, the order will come in to force on the 2 March 2020.

2) The general effect of the Order would be:

i. To revoke permit parking bay "Permit P2 holders only Mon-Fri 10am-3pm" on the southern side of London Road, from its shared property boundary wall of 1 and 2 Southland Terrace in a southeast direction to a point 11 metres south-east of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace
ii. To revoke "No Waiting at Any Time" on the southern side of London Road, from its shared property boundary wall of 1 and 2 Southland Terrace in a northwest direction to a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 8 Sussex Terrace
iii. To introduce permit parking bay "Permit P2 holders only Mon-Fri 10am-3pm" on the southern side of London Road, from a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace in a northwest direction to a point to a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 8 Sussex Terrace
iv. To introduce "No Waiting at Any Time" on the southern side of London Road, from a point 1 metre northwest of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace in a southeast direction to a point 11 metres south-east of the eastern flank wall of 7 Southland Terrace

3) A copy of the Made Order together with the plans will be available for inspection for a period of 21 days at the Civic Offices, New Road, Grays, RM17 6SL during normal office hours and also on Thurrock Council's website at thurrock.gov.uk/publicnotices

4) Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act has not been compiled with, may, within 3 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
