Community grants and funding
'Land of the Fanns' is a low-lying area to the north of the river Thames, including parts of Greater London, Essex and Thurrock.
The Land of the Fanns Landscape Partnership is working on a 5-year plan to restore and celebrate this landscape. The areas of focus within Thurrock include Belhus, Mardyke, The Fanns in North and South Ockendon, and Langdon Hills.
Land of the Fanns community action fund is a grants programme for communities in and around the Land of the Fanns area.
It can be used to support projects that will compliment the wider delivery scheme and meet some of the main Land of the Fanns Landscape Partnership objectives.
The grants application process is managed by the Land of the Fanns community action fund board and its commissioning officers. During each application round, £15,000 will be made available to support small-scale projects with grants of up to £5,000.
