9:15am to 10:15am Go Girls A 6-week course for parents and carers with practical advice to support girls' emotional development and build their self-esteem. Packed with ideas for activities, exercises, group-work, games and helpful hints. Book in advance.
9:30am to 10:30am Child health clinic At Brooke Road Health Centre, Brooke Road, Grays, RM17 5BY. For ages 0 to 60 months. All welcome.
10:30am to 11:30am Patch parenting A parenting course that provides support with the everyday challenges of parenting young children. Sessions will cover topics such as being a parent, play, temper tantrums and praise. Parents have the opportunity to discuss other areas of concern if they wish to do so. Book in advance.
10:30am to 11:30am Special event – knights and princesses 5, 12 August. For ages 0 to 11 years. Dressing up is optional! Book in advance.
1:30pm to 2:30pm Baby massage For ages 0 to 12 months. Baby massage offers a wonderful opportunity for you to bond and learn how to communicate with your baby through nurturing touch and massage in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Book in advance. £12 for 6 sessions.
1:30pm to 2:30pm Let's talk with your toddler For ages 12 months to 24 months. A 6-week course that supports your child's communication and language skills. It includes advice and strategies you can use in the home. Book in advance.
1:30pm to 3pm Big cook, little cook taster session 12 August. For ages 2 years to 4 years. Call 01375 372 476 to book in advance, quoting 8047CY192.

9:30am to 10:30am Child health clinic At Stifford Clays Health Centre, Crammavill Street, RM16 2AP. For ages 0 to 60 months. All welcome.
9:30am to 11am Chatterbox For ages 18 months to 60 months. A structured language group running for 6 to 8 weeks providing support, advice and guidance to help your child develop their communications skills. By referral only.
1pm to 3:30pm Infant feeding drop-in For ages 0 to 12 months. Support sessions for you to discuss any matters relating to feeding your baby, such as breastfeeding, formula feeding and introducing solid foods. All welcome.
1pm to 4pm New born screenings A weight and blood spot (heel prick) test of your newborn baby. Book in advance.
1:30pm to 2:30pm Stay and play – sensory play For ages 0 to 12 months. Fun activities for you and your child. The sessions promote social skills and stimulation to support your child's development. The session also shares ideas to support your child's learning at home. All welcome.
1:45pm to 2:45pm Fun, food and fitness For ages 18 months to 60 months. Fun, physical activities and ideas to keep your child healthy and fit. An opportunity for your child to try different types of food each week and for parents to receive advice on healthy eating including fussy eating and portion sizes. Book in advance.
3pm to 4pm Child health clinic For ages 0 to 60 months. All welcome.
3:30pm to 4:30pm Let's talk with your baby For ages 0 to 12 months. A programme to promote positive adult-child interaction and communication skills, attachment, stimulation in a rich environment through interactive, fun activities. Book in advance.

1pm to 2pm Play and learn For ages 24 months to 60 months. A 6-week programme for families to support their child’s learning through play, providing ideas on how to support your child’s learning at home. Book in advance.
